PDF to online test

Is the PDF to online test tool free?

Yes, the tool is free and needs no sign-up for typed PDFs, Word files and pasted text. Free rules read them in your browser, with no AI and no limit on how often you use it. Only scans and photos need a free account, where AI reads 20 questions free.

Is my question paper uploaded anywhere?

No, a typed paper is read inside your browser and is never uploaded or saved. Close the tab and it is gone. Only when you sign up and Import it into a test does Qwiktest save the questions you choose to add.

Which files can I use?

The free tool reads typed PDFs, Word files (.docx), text files and pasted text, including two-column papers. Inside Qwiktest, Import also reads PowerPoint, scans, photos and your other tests, up to 500 questions, 100 pages or 50 MB at a time.

Can it read a scanned paper or a phone photo?

Yes, with a free Qwiktest account, where AI reads scans and photos. It copies each question as printed and never writes, changes or solves one. The free plan reads 20 questions free, once; after that it is 4 credits a question.

Does it read the answer key?

Yes, it reads answer lines under each question and an answer key at the end of the paper. Questions with no printed answer are flagged, never guessed. In Qwiktest you can tick the answer yourself or ask AI to suggest one and confirm it.

How do I make it a live online test?

Sign up free at Qwiktest, create a test, go to Questions and tap Import. Drop the same paper, check the question cards and tap Add. Then publish the test and share the link with your students.
